Abstract

The retail business in India has seen considerable changes in recent years. Petrol pumps, for
example, now sell a greater range of items in addition to petrol. The purpose of this study is to
critically assess current retailing advances at Indian fuel pumps, with a focus on the implications
on customer habits, market trends, and the retail industry. With the introduction of e-commerce
and the use of digital technology, these inclinations have become stronger, opening new avenues
of contact between customers and fuel station merchants (Anirvinna & Ravi, 2011). This
analysis tries to understand the reasons for these transformations and their implications for the
future of retail in India by thoroughly examining the practices of these organizations.
